The 250th birthday of America was spent in the LRPC at the yearly 4th of July picnic at Uncle Don and Aunt Gwen's house. At the picnic we not only celebrated the 250th Birthday of America, but also the 50th Anniversary of Uncle Don and Aunt Gwen.
The picnic was full of guitar playing, eating, water balloon and egg toss games, and more. Also, who could forget the part when some of my friends' horde of balloons in the bed of John Terry's truck got destroyed when the chairs got moved into the truck? here are some pictures of the picnic:
as you can see, most pictures of the picnic were of people holding the beloved new Smith, Karalee. She and her family are visiting their grand parents, from Indiana, and she was the star baby at the picnic everybody wanted to hold.
In the St. Lawrence county, everybody had to ring a bell for 2 minutes and 50 seconds, celebrating the 250th birthday.➡️
The other thing we did differently was Josiah, Cara, Elanor and I rode our bikes on the three mile road to the picnic!
We have been riding our bikes more often since May, not only because the snow had melted and we were eager to ride our bikes, but because Mom and Dad let us older kids ride to the school alone.
Speaking about bikes, ours are kinda falling apart! Cara is trying to raise enough money for a brand new bike from Walmart, but there is not much to do around here to earn money, so her fund is only up to fifteen dollars. So if you have any job ideas, then let me know.
